Pink and Blue

Esther is a princess. Really. And as you know, a princess' favorite color is pink. She had to have a pink Bible, and she routinely disappears only to reappear moments later wearing her pink princess costume. Once I asked her to wash her face, and she exclaimed, "I need to wash my pink face!"

Zachary is a dragon, but only the good kind, of course. The kind that will have little, if anything, to do with the color pink. He had to have a blue Bible, and he regards blue as synonymous with all things anti-girl (and anti-dragon). As soon as I walk in the door from work he wants to wrestle, and he used to disappear only to reappear moments later wearing his dragon costume.

Believe me, it's quite entertaining to see a blue dragon, a pink princess, and a wonder mutt skipping around the backyard.
