A Little Vacation

We just got back from a fabulous weekend with my in-laws down in Mobile, Alabama. Lots of rest and relaxation, and of course the obligatory trip to the Krispy Kreme bakery. There's really nothing like fresh Krispy Kreme donuts amongst friends.

But to top it all off, Bro. George Ferguson from Canada-way (and who travels the world for VoGR) was passing through, and spent all weekend holding services in my wife's family's little house church. We've been blessed hearing Bro. Ferguson each year at the Macon, GA Labor Day meetings (along with hundreds of other believers from around the world), but with such a mass of people we usually end up in an auxiliary overflow building watching the services on a remote hookup.

Not this time! We were only a few pews back! Why, there's only about 6 pews in the whole church! Saying it was wonderful would be a bit of an understatement.

An understatement indeed.
