The Free Word, Alright

Bro. Jason Watkins, pastor of Bethel Tabernacle in Beaufort, SC, has graciously made available online the uncompressed (and undistorted) sermon MP3s from Voice of God Recordings. Now anyone in the world can download, for free, the original, unmodified, undistorted sermons, and hear every spoken word.

And on his homepage is a copy of a letter from Bro. Joseph expressing his satisfaction with the way the MP3s are being made available.

I respect this brother for not only what he's doing, but the way he's doing it. Respectfully.

You may disagree with my view on this, but at that great judgement bar these brothers will be able to stand boldly before the throne and say, regarding the way the Message was produced and distributed: We followed your prophet's instructions to the letter.

On my job, I call this sort of predicament a shift in accountability. As long as someone else gives the orders and we follow them, we are not accountable. If there are any problems at the judgment bar, these brothers can always say, "but Bro. Branham said we should only produce an A-1 quality recording, which we did", and "but Bro. Branham said about the franchise and copyright such and such, which we honored."

They are in a very safe place, methinks.

I came across the Bethel Tabernacle site a few months back, and I was impressed too by the way they are doing what they are doing!

I appreciate your stand on this, too, brother.
