Playtime!

I don't play many computer games - they can suck hours of your life away in no time, and it's hard to find a game that's actually fun to play. Good graphics does not a good game make. Or violence.

Howsomever, the other night I picked up a copy of this game, a remake of the classic Transport Tycoon game from over a decade ago that was probably the best game I ever played. So I got it installed (after the kiddies were asleep, of course), and presto - pure joy. I felt like a kid again, playing with my trains and cars.

Oddly, this game got horrible reviews when it was released. Maybe everyone else prefers destroying grotesque monsters in high-res 3D, but in my humble opinion this is the perfect game. Yes, better even than Age of Empires III.

I need some sleep.
