Believe in... what you feel?

I was flipping through an issue of my son's National Geographic Kids magazine tonight and came across an advertisement for the movie The Polar Express, which contained a rawtha interesting background graphic of the North Pole. If you haven't seen the movie, its portrayal of Santa Claus is disturbingly God-like.

The central theme of the movie is that Santa Claus will always be there if you believe. The theme song is entitled Believe, and here are some of the lyrics:

Believe in what your heart is saying,
Hear the melody that's playing.
There's no time to waste,
There so much to celebrate.
Believe in what you feel inside,
Give your dreams the wings to fly.
You have everything you need, if you just believe.

In this movie, the North Pole is not just a pole in the middle of the snow, it's an entire city, lit by a magnificent Christmas tree in the city. A city for Santa-God. Seriously, take a look at these posters and see if the city doesn't look quite similar to the one depicted in Revelation 21:23 (and surrounding verses).

Now granted, no one really knows what the city in Revelation will actually look like (although we do know the shape and size and many other details from its Biblical description), but this looks like a pretty good decoy. With a cute little boy that discovers there really is a Santa-God. And all you have to do is Believe. Isn't that sweet?

But believe in what?
