Shhh...I'm hiding

A coworker just alerted me that someone from Human Resources will be down in a moment to collect money for the firm's next big charity cause. We have a new cause every month, mostly so the firm can include on their marketing materials how much money we give away. We have blood drives, platelet drives, and on and on and on.

This particular HR employee is also extremely loud and talkative, and once mentioned to me (back when I had a beard), that she doesn't see how my wife could kiss me (in front of all my coworkers).

So I've closed my door, and I'm about to crank up some "muzak" compliments of www.beethoven.com. Thank God I have an office.
