LifeHack.org has an interesting approach to taking one of those 20 minute naps that leaves you feeling ready to work another 24 hours. Sleepy time mp3's, which you can download into our mp3 player or computer (and then burn to an audio CD if you like).
What do they sound like? White noise at first, until it's time to wake up, when they slowly begin playing barnyard noises, followed by gentle music, and finally, if you're still not awake, some loud explosions and a voice telling you to WAKE UP!
If you're like most people, your biological "clock" kicks into sleepy-time mode at 3:00 AM and 3:00 PM, which is why you get drowsy around that time in the afternoon (or maybe a little before or after, depending on what you had for lunch). So if you have the opportunity, drowse off to one of these mp3s and wake up ready to go!
