My Zen is Broken

My Creative Zen will play, but I can't get it to stop. I discovered this the other morning when I parked my car at the train station and it wouldn't respond to my frantic button presses. It committed the unforgiveable... it lost my place in the sermon I was listening to.

Therefore, and because I've only had it for less than a year, I respectfully dub it a "piece of junk".

My brother chastised me for not following my own advice to always buy quality, even if it's more expensive. I figure if you spend a tad more for something that will break less, you'll end up saving money in the long run. Too bad I didn't listen to myself.

I should have bought an iPod, purely based on Steve Jobs' reputation for pursuing quality with a maniacal passion. But I got cheap. I thought, "surely a Zen will be just as good as an iPod".

Yep. I guess a lot of times you get what you pay for. Who woulda thunk it?

Yeah, and guess what happened to my iPod?

It got stolen. Go figure!
