Joe is a Nasty Scoundrel

Last weekend the "yutes" (youth) from my church put on a skit at the annual Alabama Banquet hosted by Bro. Homer Longoria's church. The notorious Bro. Joe Canada sent me an email this morning notifying me that the video of said skit was available for viewing on our church's web site.

I have two monitors at work, so I popped it up and proceeded to watch it out of the corner of my eye. OK OK, I had it running on my primary monitor and that was all I was doing, but anyway... it suddenly became apparent that this wasn't your typical run-of-the-mill skit.

The video is about 30 minutes long, but it's well worth it.

Also, pay attention to Sis. Rachel and Sis. Anna's dramatic impersonation of two Romanian women, complete with head-kerchiefs and shawls and whatnot. Just kidding! I think everyone did a fantastic job - I just wanted to make my Romanian wife laugh.

So why is Joe a nasty scoundrel? I am secretly a soft-hearted person, and I started crying before this video finished. At work. Dude... you made me cry at work! You are a nasty scoundrel.

The part where he was crying out to God and saying He was sorry was incredibly moving. Well done.

I watched a play at a church in Florida once. Their play was "left behind" and they acted out how horrible it was to be left behind, even tho they had all claimed to be Christians.

It was powerful.
