Fire

Yesterday on the way home from church we saw several emergency vehicles, and then passed a whole cluster of them, they shut down the entire eastbound lanes of Highway 92 just west of Roswell. All four lanes were packed with ambulances and fire trucks, and then we saw it...the biggest blaze I've ever seen. It looked like the kind of fire you only see in the movies, a curtain a flame draped over the walls. Technicians were stationed outside the the doors of two or three ambulances waiting.

We all prayed for whoever was in the house, if anyone, but we haven't heard any news about what happened.

The only other similar event I can remember was watching a Georgia Tech dorm building burn up from the skyrise where I work. Flames were coming out of the windows of the multi-level building; quite impressive, and thankfully no one got hurt, although a few students lost their term papers (great excuse, huh?).
