Congrats to Michael and Lavi

It's over. We just arrived back in Atlanta, after four days in Mobile, AL attending my sister-in-law's wedding (only one day for the actual wedding, but you know how that goes). Interestingly, gasoline was about a quarter cheaper in Mobile than it is in Atlanta; in the past the opposite has always been true.

The wedding went swimmingly (see pictures below), although this was Pastor (and brother-in-law) Matthew Bray's first wedding, brother-in-law Cornel Borlovan's first turn as sound-man and mixing-board maestro, and my son Zachary's first time as ring-bearer. It was also Lavi and Michael's first time getting married (ha, better be, right?), so there were lots of first-timers present.

This was not my first time as a wedding attendee, so I was well prepared for the usual wedding lineup: long waits for food, stiff legs from standing around, moments of panic trying to find missing kids, etc. After the flower-girl strode down the aisle I had to restrain my daughter from "cleaning up" the flower petals scattered hither and yon, which she had done during rehearsal. No one would have minded (probably), but its the principal of the thing, you see. All the pomp and circumstance must be rigorously adhered to (i.e. no cleaning up flower petals).

I'm about to hit the sack, but I'll try to post more later. As always, we had a wonderful time; I've been blessed with the most fantastic in-laws on earth. Don't forget to check out the pics...
